Questions
Common questions about sending abroad.
What can I send abroad?
Most goods, as long as the destination country allows them and the carrier accepts them. Each carrier and each country keeps its own list of what cannot be sent, so check it before you pack.
Do I need a commercial invoice?
For goods, yes: carriers and customs ask for one. EviPostal sends the carrier the items you describe, and the carrier’s commercial invoice comes back and prints with the label.
Which countries can I send to?
It depends on the carrier and the service. Enter the destination and the list shows every carrier that can take the parcel there, with its price.
How are international prices worked out?
From the destination, the weight and the size: a big, light parcel is charged by its size. Each price is the EviPostal rate for that service, with your own markup on top if you set one.
How long does delivery take?
Each carrier gives an estimated time for its service, shown next to its price. Customs checks at either end can add days.
What if my parcel is held at customs?
Customs may ask for more details, or for duties to be paid, before it lets a parcel through. In EviPostal the hold becomes a problem with an owner and a next action, and its history stays with the shipment.
